The area  in which we specialize in includes 1950's and 1960's Scandinavian classics (Wegner, Mogenson. Finn Juhl etc), Mid Century Australian classics (Featherston,, Fler and Parker), deco and mid-century European furniture from the 1920's and 1930's, American (Eames, Knoll) and Italian (B&B Italia, etc).

With furniture from this era Found avoids recreating a “retro” look, as no one should want to re-create the Happy Days Dinner look and feel.  Found Upholstery uses fabrics from Australia’s leading fabric houses to ensure the finished pieces sits comfortably and beautifully in Contemporary, Coastal or Mid Century settings. We can also source any international fabric you may be after.

With all the beautifully restored pieces on the Found Floor, Found also offerers the Timber Restoration Service by Matt Hatcher.

What is the Found Quote on my job?

Should you require a quote on Upholstery and Timber Restoration please email found a picture of your piece, including any significant damage to the furniture.

Pick up and Delivery.

Found will pick up pieces locally free of charge. For Brisbane and Northern NSW deliveries please allow $50 - $100 depending on the suburb.

Building  a Custom Piece for your home.

Yes, found can create a custom piece for your home. Our custom made daybeds start at $2200.

Turnaround time.

This depends on a few factors, our present workload and when we can expect your fabric instore. We like to turn pieces around in a 2 week timespan depending on our workload. We also require the fabric paid in full, and a 50% on the upholstery labour to slot your job into our Work in Progress list.
